Pet Owner Responsibilities

Residents like to enjoy their lawns, and they take pride in the Greyhawk neighborhood. Pet owners have a neighborly responsibility, in addition to a legal one in the county’s "Scoop and Leash Laws,” to pick up their dog’s waste. Please pick up and dispose of your dog’s waste at home or in a public garbage can. Let’s all be considerate of our neighbors. Keep your dogs on a leash when you walk them.

To report an inconsiderate person or to register a complaint about a barking dog, please call “Animal Control & Protection” at 360-397-2488. Officers are available on weekends.

Every house can add or detract from the neighborhood's appearance. Most people keep their dogs on a leash when walking them; however, some still allow them to roam onto peoples' lawns as they pass by. Please keep your dogs on the sidewalk and off private property.

Additionally, residents can get more info and/or reports about animals at the Clark County website.

Remember also that Clark County has a $250.00 fine for failure to "scoop up" after your pet!
